FAST TRACK your path

to becoming a Canine Hydrotherapist

Complete Certification within a 7 month period*

*Dependent on when the student completes all modules and if they pass

New FAST TRACK program

Due to the number of requests, we have restructured our usual program to enable students to FAST TRACK their study and become a Certified Canine Hydrotherapist sooner.

The theory component (modules) will be made available for students to progress through at their own pace. As each module is completed, the next will be become available.

All prerequisite modules before the workshop module MUST be completed and passed prior to attending the live VIRTUAL workshop.

Failure to complete the workshop pre-requisite modules will mean the student has to defer into the next intake, pay the deferment fee, plus the price difference fee.

There is no guarantee of passing, not all students pass this course, therefore it is up to each student to apply themselves to learning the material.

All Fast Track Students will have access to the main Private Facebook Group and live fortnightly Q & A sessions. (Please see below for more information on the Q&A structure for Fast Track Students).

Student Support team prioritise any support tickets received from Fast Track students.

Is FAST TRACK Canine Hydrotherapy Course for you?

Usually it takes 12-18 months to complete the Canine Certification Course. This is determined by students pace of learning, whether 'life' gets in the way of their study, and when the next live VIRTUAL workshop is being held. Some students wish to complete their studies sooner and this is why the FAST TRACK program is being introduced:

  • 1

To give students who have prior canine or animal anatomy experience and knowledge the opportunity to work through the course modules quicker.

  • 2

For students who have 10+ hours of study time available to dedicate to their studies. (Usually our slower paced course takes 2-3hrs/week over 12-18 months). They can progress through the modules quicker and complete certification within 7 months.

  • 3

Some students already have jobs waiting for them and their employers want them to progress through the course within a certain timeframe.

  • 4

Those people who like to achieve their qualifications quicker, learn better this way, and are 100% committed to passing all of their assignments and assessments.

Access to Michelle & Support

Access to Michelle will be the same for the FAST TRACK student as all other students. You will have the opportunity to learn from Michelle directly during the live Q&A sessions held approximately every 2-3 weeks.

Michelle will also be available in the student Private Facebook Group to answer any questions about canine anatomy, pathologies, treatments and case studies.

All other questions and queries are to be directed to the Student Support team via the specific link (provided after enrolment) and the Student Support team prioritise support tickets from Fast Track students.

Q&A Session Information

The Live Q&A sessions have been scheduled for the current slow paced course that is running. These students started in October 2022.

FAST TRACK students will be given the opportunity to join these live Q&A sessions. Initially they will be covering more advanced modules but this provides an opportunity to learn at a higher level and faster pace.

FAST TRACK students will also have access to the recordings of prior Q&A sessions to increase their learning experience.

You must have time to study

Please don't sign up for the FAST TRACK program unless you have at least 10 hours available each week for study. Otherwise you are setting yourself up to fail and we only want to see students succeed and graduate.

You must have access to a dog

To ensure you don't get slowed down (and consequently not make the workshop deadline) you MUST have access to a dog to practice your anatomy and treatment and for some video submission assignments.

You must meet workshop requirements

The first fourteen modules MUST be completed prior to attending the live VIRTUAL workshop. Failure to complete these prerequisite modules will mean you fail the course and will need to defer into another course intake and pay the deferment fees.

Can't complete workshop prerequisites

Regardless of the reason, if you are unable to complete the modules required to be completed and passed prior to attending the live VIRTUAL workshop you will need to defer into a different course intake. There are deferment costs involved, please read below information on deferment.

Have to defer - here are the costs

If you are unable to meet the workshop prerequisite requirements you will need to defer. This will incur a deferment administration fee of $250 PLUS the course price difference. For example, if you defer into the 2024 intake that course might be priced higher by $500-$1000 and you will be required to pay this difference. If you defer into a future intake, that price difference will be determined once the course pricing has been set and enrolment opens.

What students say:

“I had no prior skills in this industry and this course gave me the skills as well as the confidence to take hydrotherapy sessions in a clinic. Best career move I ever made”

– Emilie Canine Hydrotherapist

“Coming from a professional corporate background, I understood the need to surround myself with like-minded people, increase my knowledge/training and develop a support network, particularly as I work as a sole trader. The Hydrotherapy course delivered on all fronts.”

– Marie  Canine Hydrotherapist

“The Canine Hydrotherapy course was constructed and presented really well. The video lectures provided all the training knowledge required to complete the necessary assignments and I could play them again and again. The Q&A webinars were helpful in providing direction on the next stage of the course and the workshops were informative and hands on. Brilliant to have the Cannikin clay models as a learning tool as well as the live dogs too.”
