Career Opportunities working as a Canine Hydrotherapist
The Pet industry was already a massive and rapidly growing industry, with people spending more of their disposable income on their pets health and care than ever before. Now with the influx of pet owners due to Covid the medical and surgical treatments pet owners are investing in for their pets has increased substantially. Consequently, so too has the need for rehabilitation treatments that can accelerate the dogs recovery and maximise their return to function.
Becoming a Certified Canine Hydrotherapist with our certificate courses provides you with the knowledge, training, and experience to do the following:
Work in a clinic: More vet clinics are adding rehabilitation and hydrotherapy to their services and are looking for qualified Canine Hydrotherapists to join their teams. Existing Canine Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Centres, and even dog groomers, pet resorts, and rescue organisations are also looking for qualified Canine Hydrotherapists to help treat their canine clients. So, there are plenty of job opportunities on the rise once you are certified you just need to research what's available in your local area.
Start your own clinic: As the need for rehabilitation services increases, so too does the opportunity to open your own hydrotherapy clinic. We recommend doing thorough preliminary research and included in the course is a module on starting your own hydrotherapy business and how to work with your local veterinarian(s) to generate referrals for your new business.

CANINE HYDROTHERAPY COURSE GRADUATE SAYS:
"I was worried about learning and remembering the science part of the study which later disappeared once we started learning the more practical module. It all came into place then. When comparing other courses, this is the most extensive and up to date content. It is well paced and is a supportive learning environment. There is lots of knowledge to be acquired during the workshop."

CANINE HYDROTHERAPY COURSE GRADUATE SAYS:
"Before starting the course I was worried only doing online wouldn't work as well but it did. It's thorough and Michelle clearly loves what she does which makes it a great learning experience. If I was to describe it to someone else I would say it is intense but worth it. The live virtual workshop was well presented using live cases, discussing the pathologies and seeing what type of questions occur in a hydro session."
